Wellness Resort Todi is an elegant and simple building which dates back to the beginnings of the 17th century.
Surrounded by a large oak wood, it’s set on a low hill with lovely views over the beautiful green countryside of Umbria. For this reason San Pietro is the ideal place for a pleasant holiday of peace and relax.
It was built as a Capuchin Convent and with its small church it became one of the most important religious and cultural centre of the area.
At the half of the last century the ancient convent was restored and converted into an elegant country house.
Its original architecture have been respected and preserved with a careful restoration work. To its traditional features have been added modern services as the fitness center, the swimming pool and the tennis court.
All rooms are beautifully furnished in keeping with the style of the hotel and have private facilities: bath/shower, mini-bar, TV, personal safe etc…
The hotel has also a conference room and a business center.
Our hotel provides a good standard of quality and service for his guests.
Wellness Resort Todi is situated almost in the centre of Umbria and from here it’s possible to reach in short time the most important cultural towns of Umbria and central Italy: Perugia, Assisi, Orvieto, Spoleto, Rome and Florence.
The name “over the water” means that San Pietro was built in a place full of springs.
For the presence of these spring waters and for its hilly position probably during the Etruscan period there was already a religious building.
Some archaeological ruins that have been found during the last works probably confirm this fascinating supposition.
