The Rocca Residence is situated in the Trasimeno lake district, an area which has been elected natural park some years ago and offers the visitors a comfortable and relaxing stay.

The excursions on horseback or by feet in the uncontaminated woods, the pleasant hours on the beaches by the lake, the visits to the charming fishermen villages browsing for the laces on the “Isola Maggiore” or for copper and wrought iron handicrafts, allows you to enter a magic atmosphere where nature and human activities meets and live happily together.

The cities of art close by may be your main destination and starting points for interesting trips among cultural events and traces of ancients times: the Palio of Siena, the Umbria Jazz Festival in Perugia, the two Worlds festival, Etruscan remains around Perugia and many others.

Olive oil, truffles, various kinds of cold meet and salami, rare local wines are the basic ingredients of an ancient and spicy cookery exalted in many village festivals held during summertime everywhere in this area.

Each colour of the multi-coloured natural landscape has inspired the creation of every flat: from the deep blue of the lake water to the fresh green of the hills dotted with oaks and olive trees, from the blazing orange of the wonderful sunsets to the bright yellow of the blooming brooms.
